点评:The animal orphanage was a hit with our family, especially our preschooler. Some of the enclosures seemed a bit too small, but the aim is to rehabilitate those animals who can be returned to the wild, and then re-wild them, so hopefully for many of the animals (though unfortunately, not likely for the predators), that will not be their forever home.
Aside from the small enclosures, the orphanage seemed well-run, and there were plenty of staff walking around answering questions, which was helpful. Learning about the mangaboon was interesting, and there was a lot of informative signage, though a few enclosures were missing signs.
It was also fun that a number of animals were free-range, like the ostriches and llamas, and residents unaffiliated with the orphanage were roaming/flying/swinging around as well (colobus monkeys, for example), which added a special element.
