点评:The tour was okay. The driver/guide/owner (one of a couple who also owns and runs the attached B&B) was entertaining and informative about the sights we passed in Minneapolis, such as St Anthony Falls, Nicolette Mall, the Walker Museum and Sculpture Garden, and the various former wheat mill companies. He seemed to have it in for the “twin city” of St Paul, though, speaking of it as dull and not worth visiting, an approach we found odd and unnecessary.
We had the “in facing” seats, and weren’t able to see very much from where we sat. The best seats for viewing were in the open air back, and the front facing window seats were better than ours. The windows are slightly dark or tinted, though, and in general the so-called trolley (it’s a trolley-looking bus) is not well set up for viewing. Our seats, wooden and thinly cushioned, were not terribly comfy.
Finally, I had emailed the owners the day before to ask if there were any bathroom stops on the 2-hour tour (we’re seniors). No response. You can use the bathroom before and after the tour, but I didn’t appreciate the lack of an answer. They get a lot of complaints about non-responsiveness on their B&B site, but it seems they’re not concerned.
