A fantastic first visit – we’ll definitely be back
Château Saint-Maur Cru Classé的点评
点评：This was our first visit to Château Saint-Maur and it certainly won’t be our last.
We sat on the terrace and tasted three wines – red, white and rosé – accompanied by a lovely sharing board of cheese and charcuterie. We thoroughly enjoyed all three wines, with the red being a particular favourite, and ended up staying for a few more glasses rather than simply doing the tasting and leaving.
The setting is beautiful and the whole experience was relaxed and welcoming. Needless to say, an undisclosed number of bottles will also be making the journey home with us!
Perhaps the biggest compliment is that since visiting, whenever we’ve seen their L’Excellence rosé on a restaurant wine list, we’ve chosen it – even over some of our previous favourites.
A brilliant discovery on this year’s holiday and somewhere we’ll absolutely return to next time we’re in the Gulf.
