点评：Opened in 1995 the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a fantastic museum located downtown on the shore of Lake Erie. The museum documents the history of rock music and the artists, producers, engineers, and other personnel who have influenced its development, although there are many artistes featured from different music genres besides Rock, so perhaps it should be named The Music Hall of Fame. The building is on seven levels and provides visitors with the full background of music history from the early 1950's to the current day. In 1986 the first artistes were chosen to be inducted and since then six to twelve artistes have been inducted every year. There is a live music room where visitors can play instruments and recreate the music of their choice plus a cafe for light refreshments. Overall the museum is excellent and well worth a visit.
