Not happy about hiking trails being poorly marked.
Letchworth State Park的点评
点评：hiking? don't expect well marked hikes. On day one we had an amazing time viewing each of the falls, going to the museum, visit to the Council grounds. FYi I counted around 236 stone steps from Upper falls viewing area back to the parking lot. Day two we planned to hike trail 15, a 2.5 moderate trail, the problem was two fold it grew increasingly overgrown and unmarked. When we decided to turn around because it wasn't worth getting poison ivy or ticks because it was so overgrown we noticed a yellow marker on a tree meaning we somehow landed on trail 15A. On the way back though I looked for any other trails and found absolutely none but we ended back at the entrance of 15 so go figure. My wife saw the entrance to 15A after we drove off and there is no way we were on it. The trees need to be marked better maybe with elevation info as well because man was it a tough hike back. Later we decided to just do an easy hike around Trout Pond trail number 3 orange trail and guess what we came to a T and there was only blue tree paint but no blue trail on the map. What happened is the map before the great reset? Lunch was amazing at Glen Iris Inn and Restaurant so there was that. overall an amazing trip. we stayed at Letchworth Valley Campground which is surrounding a nice little lake. loved the peace and quiet.
翻译：徒步旅行？可别指望有标记清晰的步道。第一天，我们尽情欣赏了每一处瀑布，还参观了博物馆以及议会广场。顺便说一下，我从上瀑布观景台数到停车场，一共有约236级石阶。第二天，我们打算徒步15号步道，这是一条难度为中等的2.5公里长的小径，但问题在于沿途杂草丛生且几乎没有任何标记。当我们决定掉头返回时——因为路途过于茂密，搞不好会沾上毒葛或染上蜱虫——我们注意到一棵树上有个黄色标记，这意味着我们不知怎的走上了15A号小径。不过在返回途中，我试图寻找其他小径，但完全没发现任何迹象；可最后我们还是回到了15号小径的入口处，真是奇怪。我们开车离开后，我妻子看到了15A号小径的入口，但我们当时绝对不可能走在那条路上。那些树木或许需要更好地做上标记，最好再标注出海拔高度信息，因为回去的路程实在艰难得要命。后来我们决定沿着3号步道——也就是那条橙色标记的特劳特池塘步道来一次轻松的徒步。结果到了一个十字路口处，只看到树木上有蓝色标记，但地图上却根本没有蓝色标记的步道。这是不是大重置之前的地图呢？格伦艾里斯旅馆及餐厅的午餐棒极了，这点也值得称赞。总的来说，这是一次很棒的旅行。我们住在莱奇沃思谷露营地，那里环绕着一个漂亮的小湖。我们很喜欢那里的宁静与安详。
