Letchworth State Park的点评
点评：This is a review of day 1 at Letchworth State Park. We arrived at the Castile entrance about 11:30 am. $10 admission per car. Which is a great deal. We first visited the Visitor Center. Got maps and spoke with ranger about hikes. We then went to lower falls to eat lunch. More like fast food. Hot dogs, burgers, salads, chicken fingers. Ate outside which was lovely. We then visited the Nature Center. Best part was going to the back and going outside where bird feeders are. We sat there for awhile. We saw 6! Blue jays and many goldfinch. Then went to the Museum which is small but interesting and learned about Mr Letchworth and the history of the Geneseo valley. Be sure to see the mastodon skull and tusks. From there we drove to Glen Iris Inn. Parked there and walked to middle and upper falls. Truly beautiful. Took Park Road all the way back to Mount Morris exit. Stopped at Inspiration Point for another outstanding view. Overall a lovely lovely day. Not too crowded and beautiful Western New York summer day.
