点评：An amazing place. The drive out there is not for the faint of heart, but absolutely worth it! Camped a couple of nights in their campgrounds. (Can be reserved online) So worth it, as the early mornings and afternoons/evening it felt like we had the park to ourselves. This place is remote, so be sure to bring supplies. (Water, snacks, etc) The nearest store - aka gas station - is an hour away. The park and all that it protects are so worth the added effort. The history, architecture, astronomy advancements, and the dark skies after dark, are to be treasured - and protected. The rangers are fantastic. They have a wealth of knowledge they are enthusiastic about sharing regarding what they know about the incredible people who built this place. Spend at least a day, and take a ranger guided tour if you can. Bring a hat, sunscreen, and plenty of water. This is the desert after all. Snacks go a long way, as there aren’t any restaurants/stores. The museum is very educational. If you are lucky enough to secure a camp site and can stay overnight, you are in for a dark sky treat. The Milky Way is incredibly bright in this special place. There isn’t a light polluting city anywhere near this remote area.
