查科文化国家历史公园的点评
点评：Awesome ancient ruins of few large population cities in the middle of nowhere.
Few spots with ruins in very good condition. There are many petroglyphs on nearest rocks at the edge of the canyon. Some of the houses were built as four-story ones! Unbelievable how smart and good engineers they were.
The park s about 30 miles off the main highway. To get there you'll need a good car with high clearance. There is just few miles of gravel road and then there is no pavement, just sand, clay and rocks. You have to drive at 5 to 15 miles speed for looong time, otherwise you may destroy your car.
On our way to the park we saw one coyote and few wild horses.
It's worth to drive in bad condition bot ways just to see there great ruins.
The loop roads in the park have asphalt, so driving is much pleasant.
I recommend it.
