Jardín Cultural Town and Coffee Farm Experience

点评：On behalf of Gran Colombia Tours, Andres was my guide for the visit to Jardín Cultural Town and Coffee Farm Experience Day.
Andres got in touch the evening before to confirm my pick-up time from the hotel, which got brought forward to a 6.00am start due to known roadworks en-route.
This proved to be a wise decision, with the journey from Medellín to Jardín taking nearly 4 hours due to the roadworks, however Andres was driver and guide and got me to the coffee farm safely and via scenic roads.
We went to the coffee farm first, where we met the owner, while his wife prepared a delicious breakfast, served with coffee of course.
The owner then explained the whole process from coffee plant to cup. He only spoke Spanish, but Andres translated everything into English, while also transferring my questions back to the owner.
I was then taken around the farm to collect coffee beans, taste some of the fruits growing along the coffee trees, see the bean extraction process and taste more coffee.
A great education as to how your coffee gets to your cup.
We then proceeded to the pretty town of Jardín where we visited the church, walked the town, and drank more coffee with the locals in the village square. A beautiful experience.
It was then time to make the long journey back, however the farmer owner had given Andres an alternative route to avoid the worst of the roadworks. To be honest, it probably wasn't much quicker, but the views were absolutely breathtaking, and so worth the diversion.
As it was getting late, it was my decision for Andres and I to stop off for something to eat on the way back to my hotel, which added a little extra time to our journey.
This is most definitely a full day's tour, even without the current roadworks, but it is the perfect way to see and taste how Colombia's coffee is made whilst enjoying some most outstanding views, and if Andres is your guide it will be the perfect tour.

之后，我们前往美丽的哈尔丁小镇，参观了教堂，漫步小镇，并在村广场与当地人一起品尝咖啡。这是一次美好的体验。
接下来是漫长的返程，农场主为安德烈斯提供了一条替代路线，以避开施工路段。说实话，这条路线可能并没有快多少，但沿途的风景美得令人窒息，绝对值得绕道。
由于天色已晚，我决定和安德烈斯在回酒店的路上找个地方吃点东西，这让我们多花了一些时间。
即使没有施工路段，这趟行程也绝对需要一整天的时间。不过，这是了解和品尝哥伦比亚咖啡制作过程，同时欣赏绝美景色的绝佳方式。如果安德烈斯是你的向导，那这将是一次完美的旅行。
