NATURNAL BEUATY BUT POOR SERVICE ( LACK OF LIFE JACKETS IN RS 2500 BOAT)

点评：Visited Umiam Lake recently and while the natural beauty is truly breathtaking, the experience was deeply disappointing due to poor safety measures and insensitive service.
We opted for the ₹2500 boat ride (10-seater), expecting basic safety and support. However, there was a lack of proper life jackets, which is a serious concern.
The most upsetting part was the behavior of the boat operator. Instead of assisting senior citizens while boarding, he seemed more occupied adjusting his sunglasses/ spectacles and showed little interest in helping. When my 60-year-old mother was getting down from the boat on her own and asked why the boat was trembling so much, instead of helping her, he responded rudely, “this is not a road, it’s water, and this trembling is normal.” There was no effort to assist her or ensure her safety, which felt extremely irresponsible and disrespectful.
There was absolutely no support for senior citizens, making the experience unsafe and uncomfortable.
Such pathetic behavior and lack of basic courtesy at a tourist spot of this stature is unacceptable. Authorities must take immediate steps to improve safety standards and staff behavior ( High priority).
