Excellent Tour - Definitely Worth the Bus Ride

点评：We visited Bodegas Hidalgo La Gitana while staying on vacation in Jerez and took the bus back/forth and combined it with a look around Sanlucar de Barrameda which made for a really good day out.
We were met at Bodegas Hidalgo by Victor who offered us an initial spritz drink, equipped us with our tasting glass and then took us and around 10 other visitors on a superb tour of the Bodegas explaining with great passion and enthusiasm how their sherries are made and what it is about the locality that makes manzanillas special.
Victor very clearly knows his stuff and communicated it brilliantly against the atmospheric backdrop of the Bodegas - it was a really great tour.
We finished up having a few snacks and a final tasting in the outside reception area near to where we began and popped into the on-site store before heading out to explore more of Sanlucar.
We had a great day out and I'd thoroughly recommend this tour (and Sanlucar) to other visitors.
