One of our most memorable trips ever
Private Tours Georgia/Simon Tours的点评
点评：My husband and I had never a done a tour before (we’d always travelled independently and we have travelled a lot!). But for various reasons, we decided to break that trend when we visited Georgia. And we are extremely glad that we did. What we had with Simon Tours was one of our most memorable trips ever. And that was not just because Georgia is such a beautiful country with a fascinating ancient history and an equally old, multi-faceted culture. It was also because of the input of our very knowledgeable and extremely likeable guide, Iamze. She’s a history scholar who has the great talent of being able to bring stories from the past to life in those very places where it all happened. There was no question she couldn’t answer – and we asked a very large number of questions! She is also an amazingly competent driver who negotiates what are at times quite treacherous roads with great skill and never taking a risk. We felt very safe with her at the wheel.
We also very much appreciated how easy all the correspondence and organization was – right from the very first email. During the tours themselves (we went to Kazbegi and Kakheti) everything went like clockwork. Iamze was invariably on time and always did exactly what she said she was going to do. And there was always room for flexibility and catering to particular interests as well. All in all, we got so much more out of the tours than we had ever imagined.
Thank you so much, Iamze, and Simon! We’re looking forward to our next tour with you next spring (hopefully).
