Lots of items but their value gets lost as there no item-spesific descriptions.

点评:I walked through the tour for the history of European democracy in Finnish.
The basic concept was interesting but there were lots of annoying details that overran the good things.
I think this would’ve been better as regular museum but this implementation had more problems than benefits.
The collection items didn’t have any title card or descriptions.
One could not take a closer look on items or walk through the exhibition on their own because all the information was on the audio guide – and even that was superficial: ”here you can see some items related to X” without anything more about them.
The collection had lots of good items but I’d think this way 98 % of them got lost from the visitors.
Sure, if one speaks multiple languages they can read the documents or posters themselves but if one doesn’t read e.g. German or Romanian then they only get the title of the document an that’s it. And with many posters one gets no translations but needs to guess the content based on their imagery.
The tour felt like a superficial popularized document and all the artifacts, posters, videos, statues and items were there for just to give some kind of visual background.
There were multiple tours that looked Europe from different context. Therefore while walking through one tour, you’d skip lots of items that were irrelevant for that.
But it also made a bit difficult to find the next place in your tour. Sometimes the instruction images or their colours were wrong (you’d look for a green wall but it was actually black).
I don’t mind wondering in a museum but as all the information was in the audio guide you couldn’t actually observe items beyond the tour you were walking.
Also, the headphones were wery uncomfortable and the app UI was less than intuitive. It took a while for me to to notice sound volume settings both in the headphones and in the app (the tablet’s own buttons didn’t do a thing).
I would’ve appriated ability to increase the speed too.
