Irukandji Shark & Ray Encounters的点评
点评：I had the most incredible time here! I was taken to visit the Irukanji Shark and Ray Encounters as a surprise for my birthday. I had no idea what to expect but was immediately impressed by the passion and enthusiasm of the front of house staff and the strong conservation message. I especially loved that each section is partitioned off to allow the animals some human-free time. Straight away I had good vibes.
We got the self guided discovery pass, got our wetsuits on and headed to the Tropical Lagoon where they had just started feeding. We had a great time feeding and patting the sharks and rays and the staff were so knowledgeable. Everyone we encountered was so friendly and passionate, it was heartwarming. Special shout out to the lady who looks after the Zebra Sharks (I'm so sorry I didn't get her name) she took extra time to chat with us about them and told us the whole story of their first successful fertilized eggs. She apologised for talking so much but I loved it. It's amazing to see how passionate the people here are. I learned a lot, I had an absolute ball, and I left feeling like I had contributed to something worthwhile. All the warm fuzzy feelings. I cannot recommend this place enough and will be telling everyone about it. Please please please add this to your trip if you're in the area!
