A great visit to Nisyros to see the Volcano

点评：We took the trip with Tigaki Tours to Nisyros to see the Volcano. We were picked up-and dropped off by coach from our hotel, the whole day was very well organised the trip was fantastic.
If you take the Nisyros Volcano + Nikia Add-On deal you will sail to Nisyros then driven by coach to spend a hour or so exploring Nikia, which is a small village where you can see the size of volcano from a distance.
Then driven down into the volcano and spend a hour or so in the crater, it’s naturally a little smelly but interesting.
You’re then taken back to port where you are taken into Mandraki to explore the town and buy souvenirs, but do explore a little deeper into the town as there are some beautiful restaurants in the square.
It’s a short walk back to the harbour, to sail back to Kos, then you’re taken back to your hotel for a well deserved beer.
The tour guide Elizabeth was informative and entertaining.
Overall this is a great day out and better value for money than the overpriced Jet2 tours which was nearly £30 more each.
