Shieldaig Falconry的点评
点评：The birds of prey experience at Shieldaig Falconry was one of the most long-awaited things on our NC500 trip — and rightfully so. It absolutely delivered, and then some.
It was a truly fantastic experience to get so close to such wonderful birds, instead of usually just watching them from behind a cage at a zoo. Handling birds like a Harris hawk, a kestrel and helping with training a giant Siberian eagle owl was absolutely mind-blowing and worth every penny.
We also learned a lot about these birds and how they were used for hunting in the past. And I have to mention the amazing scenery and the lovely lodge that the falconry works with ;>
This visit might even have sparked a new hobby for me, as I’ve already started looking for falconers closer to my home.
I would totally recommend booking a birds of prey experience at Shieldaig Falconry, especially if you are doing the NC500. I can guarantee it will be one of the highlights of your trip ;)
