点评：OK, I’ll admit I like the occasional heritage railway, but this one is great for anyone. Friendly staff and beautifully restored carriages and stations. A day ticket cost me £33, I think it would have been £27 in advance, and I could get off and on at any and all stops. I got on at the southern end, Kidderminster, and travelled to the north end of the line - Bridgenorth, an old market town which turned out to be well worth a visit. An hour later I took the train back and stopped at the engine sheds in Highley where there are half a dozen steam engines on display, plus photos telling the story of the line. And when you get back to Kidderminster there’s a museum for real buffs. The visitor centre is child friendly and there were several couples with young children having a happy day out - there’s also a stop at a country park.
