A glorious step back in time
Severn Valley Railway的点评
点评：I had never been on a steam train before and I was not dissapointed. This 16 mile journey was beautiful and we had a flexible ticket allowing us to get on and off the train at varying stops along the kidderminister to Bridgnorth route. The cost would have been cheaper to book online prior to the journey but we paid £33 for a freedom of the line ticket. The train was beautiful with exceptional features. It was great to see the difference between 1st and 3rd class coaches.
There was a disabled toilet onboard and some of the carriages were adapted for wheelchairs. Sadly some of the train is inaccesdible for wheelchair users due to the narrow gangways. There was a buffet car but it was expensive. There was also someone selling drinks and snacks onboard via table service. The staff were all wonderful and it was a wonderful step back in time. I wholly recommend you taking this trip.
