A very poor coach tour with Majestic

点评：Majestic coach tour to Scarborough. 5 days 4 nights in Royal Hotel, Scarborough.
We were a party of 4 consisting of 2 married couples.
Both the coach travel and the hotel were quite poor. Queuing for food and getting seated at mealtimes was extremely difficult and stressful. We ended up eating out on several occasions despite the fact that we had already paid for Breakfast and dinner (as, indeed, did our driver!).
I've never before stayed in a hotel who cannot supply either extra pillows or clean towels. The coach breakdown which caused us to spend 12 hours travelling to the hotel on the first day was awful and was made worse by the fact that the replacement coach was smaller and the seats which our friends had (seats 23 and 24) no longer existed on the replacement coach but were replaced by a sink! So our friends were moved to the rear of the coach which meant our conversations were carried out via our phones.
Our driver was very friendly but not helpful and there was very little information given to us. We were going to travel by steam train on the 'Yorkshire Moors' excursion but he was unable to find the correct starting point for the train and we travelled direct to Whitby. It seems it was possible to catch the train from Whitby and be picked up at another station - but he never shared this info unless specifically asked.
We hoped to visit the York Steam Museum but, by the time we managed to find out where the connecting road train departed from, it was too late to ensure we returned to the coach in time.
Overall a bit of a disaster for not only us but most of the other travelers which we spoke to.

我们原本希望参观约克蒸汽博物馆，但等我们好不容易查到接驳小火车的出发地点时，已经来不及确保能及时赶回大巴车那里了。
总的来说，这次旅行对我们以及我们交谈过的其他大多数旅行者而言都算是一场灾难。
