Epic houseboat experience in the Borneo jungle

点评：Orangutan Trekking Tours 4D/3N was the highlight of our trip to Indonesia. Sailing on the Klotok (houseboat) on the river was such a beautiful way to experience the jungle and wildlife. The crew spotted wildlife as we sailed along the river and stopped the boat for orangutan encounters as well as other wildlife including probiscus monkeys, birds and many more. We also trekked in the day, and night and went to the orangutan feeding stations.
Although we went during high season, it was a very peaceful experience. Our guide Dan and the rest of the crew were exceptional and considerate. They timed our stops so that they weren't so busy. They always stopped in peaceful locations at night, for a restful sleep. And the food prepared by the cook was fresh and exceptional. There were traditional meals, snacks and drinks prepared throughout the day. Our boat Jungle Papa I was one of the best on river, with a beautiful deck for viewing and sleeping, AC and fans, and a comfortable bedroom and shower.
It was a truly memorable experience. I highly recommend to go with this tour company.
