Vietnam Real Tour的点评
点评：I was looking for a tour to bring me to all the areas I wanted to cover in northern Vietnam at one go. Vietnam Real Tour came very close, three out of four, at a very good price.
They covered Ninh Binh, Halong and Sapa. I wanted to do an additional one day to explore Hanoi. Asked them at first if I were to extend one more day to do so before, will they still pick me up at the airport? Of course I would pay for an additional room night on my own, planning to figure where to stay and had already eyed a Hanoi tour from another company.
They very nicely offered to do the tour as well, and extend one more night at the same hotel, so it's all easy peasy. To my surprise, offered to do so at no additional cost. They further offered to allow me to pay the bulk of the cost in my local dollars if I so wished, saving me the hassle of either changing for USD or dong.
The entire eight days went almost like clockwork. I never saw the Vietnam Real Tour people! I reckon they farmed out each section to other tour operators, so I had different companies, nearly all of which confirmed the night before on pick up time and location; because of local regulations in the old quarter, this usually meant meet you at the lobby and we walk round the corner to the bus. In all, there were perhaps a dozen companies involved, including shuttle bus and sleeper bus operators. If there were any delays, usually due to traffic, I was kept informed. The service was literally door to door, from airport pick up to airport drop off. At no point did I wait for more than ten minutes. That takes good planning!
Everything was great on the tour, shout out especially to the hotel, for whom I have written a separate review. If ever you are planning to come to Vietnam, I believe the maestro that is Vietnam Real Tour can customize the ideal package for you!
