Garn Lakes的点评
点评：Having only recently been told about The Garn Lake, I decided to come up for a visit and was so glad I did. What a wonderful place.
Easy to find, if you're familiar with Blaenavon and the Big Pit and The Keepers Pond .. these lakes are in between both these attractions.
You can park in the free designated carpark. the only problem here, there is a small lane just before you arrive to it, but there is no where for you to pull in if a vehicle is coming from the carpark and you're driving to the carpark, ( someone will have to reverse...) It's not too bad, though.... I decided to park off the road, by another entrance to these lakes. There were 3 other cars already there, and I found it easier.
The lakes are beautiful, well kept, lots of benches scattered around, picnic benches too. Lots of bins. There isn't a cafe, and there are no toilets available, unfortunately.
I did notice a public house on the way up to the top lake, called The Whistle Inn.
There are a lot of birds about ducks and geese, who thoroughly enjoyed the dried meal worms I fed them.
I spent about 1 hour here and enjoyed my walk very much, gorgeous views and a wonderful place to visit.
