点评：We were looking for an authentic Mongolian experience — something away from the tourist trail, close to nature, with a focus on horse riding but also including culture and history. True Mongolia Travel delivered exactly that, and more.
They created a tailor-made trip for the three of us, with our own guide, horseman, cook, and a driver who brought us to the starting points of our treks and back to Ulaanbaatar. The whole team worked incredibly hard to make our journey perfect, and we always felt safe and well taken care of. Even though the itinerary was planned in advance, they were flexible and adjusted things whenever needed. They also helped us with delayed luggage and any small problems along the way — always with kindness and efficiency.
The horses themselves were extraordinary. Mongolian horses are tough, enduring, and incredibly sure-footed across every type of terrain. At the same time, they were sensitive and surprisingly easy to ride, which made the horse treks both exciting and comfortable. Riding through vast herds of animals on these amazing horses gave us a true sense of freedom and connection to the land.
The experience as a whole was unforgettable. We were overwhelmed by the richness of wildlife and animals — both wild and domesticated. Each night we listened to wolves howling in the distance, while above us the Milky Way stretched across the brightest starry skies we had ever seen. Crossing endless landscapes on horseback, through herds of animals, gave us a deep respect for the toughness and beauty of the nomadic life that has endured for thousands of years, with only small touches of modernity.
This trip gave us so much more than we had hoped for, and we are deeply grateful to the wonderful crew at True Mongolia Travel for their dedication, warmth, and hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience the true heart of Mongolia.
