点评：We did this tour with ATV Rainbow Mountain Tours. Jose was our tour guide, and he did an excellent job! We did the early bird (pick up at our hotel at 3:30 a.m.) Returned back to the hotel at 6:00 p.m., which made for a super long, tiring day! But well worth it. The ATV part was so much fun. I loved the Red Valley way more than Rainbow Mountain. If I had to do it over again, i would totally skip Rainbow Mountain and just do the tour of the Red Valley. Way too many people at Rainbow Mountain; it is not regulated. The local community is the owner and does not regulate how many visitors per day. It's an absolute SH*T SHOW once you make the grueling hike up to the "colors". I was shoved out of the way and yelled at for being in someone's photo. It was chaos, which you do not want when your head is about to split open from an altitude sickness migraine. We got our pictures and got the hell out of Dodge. Once we got back to our ATV my head was just fine, plus our guide, Jose, had some O2 and some cocoe candies, which helped with my migraine. Three people in our group had splitting migraines, but by the time we got back down to around 11,000 feet, we were all doing just fine. Our guide was great. He was very informative, let us explore at our own pace and told us what time to meet back at the ATVs. Great day minus the crowds! I'd rather have spent more time in the Red Valley, which is absolutely stunning! The food, breakfast, and lunch, were included. I was pleasantly surprised how nice the facility was, equipped with nice bathrooms with toilet paper and soap, too. Nice selection of food and drinks for breakfast and lunch, which was included in the price. Be prepared to pay around 20 soles each to the "locals" for entering the checkpoint of Rainbow Mountain. This is an extra cost they do not tell you about. Plus, you have to have cash, Soles.
