This review is based solely off of my experience with a day admission without any additional treatments.
(UPDATE 02/04/26) "Sno"Jos.... bad play on words 😅 SoJo in the snow though... Let me say it again for those in the back: JUST GOOOOO!!!
(Update 12/4/2025... 30°F outside, they add winter enclosures around the spa which are tactful and are heated. You leave the enclosures to get in the different heated pools around the spa facilities. The thermostats around the indoor part of the spa read 79°F temperature. ❤️ Still in love with this place! I added videos of the enclosures. Search the reviews for the word "winter" and they should pop up.)

My experience at SoJO Spa in Edgewater, New Jersey, was a delightful mix of relaxation and unforeseen surprises. Despite arriving prepared for a day of pampering, there were a few elements that caught me off guard during my stay. To start, I was taken aback by the brief 5-minute walk from the free parking area to the spa entrance, which was slightly longer than expected. However, I later discovered that valet parking was available for $12, providing a convenient alternative for those seeking a quicker and more direct arrival process. Additionally, upon entering the spa, I was surprised to encounter a line of over 25 people waiting for admission, resulting in a longer wait time than anticipated. The thorough security bag check at the entrance was another unexpected aspect of the visit. Furthermore, I was impressed by the expansive square footage of the spa, offering a wide range of amenities and relaxation areas for guests to enjoy. The spa boasts multiple heated pools, with the hydrotherapy pool standing out for its impressive size, numerous adjustable jets, and luxurious heating. Additionally, there was a small hot tub within the hydrotherapy pool area, adding to the overall sense of relaxation and rejuvenation. The cleanliness of the entire spa was commendable, with staff constantly tidying up and maintaining a pristine environment. While the towels provided were smaller than expected, the endless supply of fresh towels more than made up for this minor inconvenience. While SoJO Spa may be more expensive than other options in the area, the cost is undoubtedly worth every penny. Despite these unforeseen hiccups, my overall experience at SoJO Spa was still enjoyable and memorable. The serene atmosphere, luxurious amenities, and attentive staff made for a rejuvenating day of relaxation. I hope this review helps future visitors anticipate what to expect upon check-in at SoJO Spa.
In addition to my experience at SoJO Spa, I'd like to highlight that it is acceptable to arrive within an hour after your scheduled day admission time, although arriving earlier is not recommended. My appointment was set for 1pm, and due to a lengthy line, I didn't enter until 1:50pm. However, once inside, I relished in the clean and luxurious ambiance of the spa, staying until 7:30pm made up for the delayed start.
I also indulged in a delightful dining experience at the on-site cafe, where I savored a protein smoothie accompanied by fried vegetable dumplings. The scrumptious meal cost $30 but was well worth it for the fresh and delicious flavors. Despite the initial delay, my time at SoJO Spa was a perfect blend of unexpected delays, relaxation, and culinary delights.

我还在店内的咖啡馆享受了一顿美味的餐点：一杯高蛋白奶昔配上炸蔬菜饺子。这顿丰盛的餐食花费了30美元，但新鲜可口的味道绝对物有所值。尽管一开始有些耽搁，不过……我在SoJO SPA的时光真是完美融合了意想不到的延误、身心放松以及美味佳肴。
