点评：I would not recommend SoJo Spa.
I booked a visit to celebrate my birthday, and it ended up being one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had. I was asked to leave because I had consumed alcohol before arriving. I understand businesses have the right to set policies, but I was not visibly intoxicated, wasn’t acting belligerent, wasn’t causing a disturbance, and was simply looking forward to enjoying a relaxing day.
What made the situation even worse was that I did not receive a refund after being turned away. Paying for a service that I was never allowed to use left a very bad impression.
I’ve been to multiple spas throughout the New York and New Jersey area, and many of them actually serve alcohol on-site while still maintaining a relaxing and safe environment. SoJo’s approach felt unnecessarily rigid and, in my experience, poorly handled.
A birthday that was supposed to be relaxing turned into a frustrating and expensive disappointment. Between being denied entry despite behaving appropriately and not receiving a refund, I can’t recommend spending your money here. There are plenty of other spas in the NY/NJ area that treat their guests better.
