Incredible experience, completely lives up to the hype!
Blue Hole的点评
点评：We visited the Blue Hole last week and it was hands down the highlight of our trip. If you are diving, entering through "The Bells" is a must. You drop through a narrow rock chimney into this stunning, vibrant wall, and then drift right into the massive, deep blue sinkhole. The visibility was easily 30+ meters, and looking down into that deep blue abyss felt like floating in outer space.
If you're just snorkeling, do not skip this place! We swam along the outer reef edge toward the main hole and it honestly felt like flying over a massive underwater canyon. The shallow coral fringe is beautiful, absolutely packed with clownfish, parrotfish, and anemones. Just a heads up for weak swimmers: the drop-off is sudden and the currents can pick up, so definitely grab a life vest.
After being in the water, we hung out at one of the cozy Bedouin-style cafes right on the shore. They have tons of low cushions and carpets right by the water, making it the perfect spot to crash, warm up, and relax. We ordered some fresh grilled fish, fries, and hot mint tea, and the food hit the spot after a long swim.
A few practical tips:
* There is a **$20 per person entry fee** to get into the national park area, so bring cash.
* **Get there early!** We arrived around 8:00 AM and had the place mostly to ourselves. By midday, massive tour buses show up and it gets packed.
* Don't let the scary rumors scare you off. As long as you stick to the reef, stay within your limits, and don't try to go deep looking for "The Arch," it is perfectly safe and a genuinely unforgettable day.
