Manchester Taxi Service的点评
点评：I am not sure if this is a particular company or a general issue with taxi services. I have had no problems with some taxi companies, such as Intime, which has a contract with the Manchester hospitals. Their drivers are always lovely. However, I had a different experience with another company called Hastings. The taxi smelled strongly of hot food, as if the driver had just eaten or customers had, and it was quite unpleasant. The driver then asked for the £10 fare upfront and compared it to Uber, and then asked for a tip afterwards. As I was feeling very unwell, I gave him my change, but I would not compare that car ride to an Uber experience. I have found that some local taxi drivers, particularly from certain ethnic backgrounds, have treated me poorly because I am a woman. They have been unprofessional in their questions, asking about my sexuality and making sexual comments, or they have taken advantage of me by hijacking me to take me to a cash point to demand cash. Their payments don't take 10 days to come through and how they get paid is not my problem.
