The Pelican Boardwalk, Little St Baths & the Waterline Marina

点评：One of the lovely things about Forster is that it has both beaches and lake. Wallis Lake is a long, wide waterway that is extremely popular for boating, fishing, swimming and snorkelling.
If you want a break from the surf and the sand, then one of the nice things to do in Forster is to stroll along the‘Pelican Boardwalk’, a waterfront promenade that runs alongside the lake.
Along the way, you will see a lot of pelicans and you’ll pass the Little Street Baths, an outdoor swimming area (it's free to swim here).
There are also a number of waterfront marinas and we recently stopped at the Waterline Seafood & Oyster Bar for a local seafood lunch. I can recommend it. From the street, it looks like a regular boat hire & fishing tackle shop so it doesn’t immediately catch your eye. However out the back, there’s a large wooden deck that juts out over the river. We sat out here with a glass of Prosecco and a platter of fresh oysters and found it all very pleasant.
