点评：My husband, fifteen year old son, and I had a fabulous 2 days with Tim in Yorkshire. We are big All Creatures Great and Small fans, and our tour of the dales did not disappoint. Tim had noticed them setting up for filming earlier in the week, so we adjusted our itinerary to swing by the locations earlier than planned to see if we'd get lucky, and we did! It was a cold, rainy day, so there weren't many people about and we got a front row view of filming for the Christmas special, with "Siegfried" walking behind me only a foot or two away. So fun! And really interesting to see the crew transforming the world back to the 1940s. Even if we hadn't had that special treat, the dales would still be beautiful (Tim had umbrellas at hand for the rain, and we ducked into a local shop to buy warm fleeces and rain gear). Tim took us to lunch at a delicious little pub and drove us up to "Helen's farm" and other scenic spots. Our second day we spent in York , which was lovely as well. My son enjoyed seeing the Shambles (which was the inspiration for Diagon Alley in Harry Potter), and we had a nice little tea there. York Minster is not to be missed as well, and was my favorite church I've seen in the UK, so open and full of light. Tim is very knowledgeable, personable, and adaptable to requests. We definitely give him 5 stars!
