I’ve been on Blue Horizon five times in 2025 and 2026, and honestly, the biggest reason I keep coming back is the crew, especially our surf guide, Ameer.
When I first came on board, I was pretty much a beginner and really scared of shallow reef breaks. Ameer was always there to help. He showed me where to paddle out, where to get out of the water, what to do if I got caught in the whitewater, and how to deal with bigger waves. He explained everything so patiently, every single time.
On my first trip, I could barely catch any waves. But by my fifth trip, I was catching some pretty big waves and having so much fun. I wouldn’t have made that progress without him.
My English isn’t great either, and this is something I really want to mention. Sometimes I struggle to understand or explain what I mean, but Ameer never made me feel uncomfortable about it. He always spoke slowly, took his time, and made sure I understood. That really helped me feel more confident.
And it’s not just Ameer. The captain, the dhoni captain, and all the other crew members are such good people. Everyone was friendly, patient, and helpful, even when I couldn’t communicate properly in English. I never felt left out or uncomfortable.
Oh, and the food was really good too! Always looked forward to eating after a long surf session.
So if you’re a beginner, thinking about going alone, or worried about your English, don’t stress about it. Just go! I was in the same situation, and I’ve had such a great time every single trip.
Big thanks to Ameer and the whole Blue Horizon crew. Really appreciate everything you guys have done for me.

我的英语水平也不算好，这一点我真的想特意提一下。有时候我很难听懂或表达清楚自己的想法，但阿米尔从没让我为此感到不自在。他总是慢慢说话、耐心等待，确保我完全理解。这真的让我变得更加自信了。
其实不只是阿米尔。船长、守门员以及所有其他船员都是非常好的人。即使我用英语无法顺利交流，大家依然友善、耐心且乐于助人。我从未感到被冷落或不自在。
哦，食物也特别美味！每次冲浪结束后，我总是期待着大快朵颐一番。
所以，如果你是个初学者，打算独自前往，或者担心自己的英语水平，都无需担心啦。去吧！我也经历过同样的情况，每次旅行都过得极其愉快。
