Burford Garden Company的点评
点评：We planned our route across the Cotswold to include a stop at the Burford Garden centre, we wanted to look at the garden buildings in the outside area. On arriving we saw a cabin with the term “Dogs” on the sign for a coffee shed. Thinking it was a dog friendly place, we all went to go inside to find that the garden centre is NOT DOG FRIENDLY! When I popped inside to ask a member of staff how we could look at the cabins, the only way is through the shop. I said we have a dog and can carry her through but was told a firm no and there’s no way to access the outside area other than through the shop. When I asked why aren’t dogs allowed she said “it’s because of the type of shop we are”
Imagine they must lose a lot of customers who travel through the area with a dog. I can understand no dogs in the cafe/restaurant but not even allowed in the outside area is unusual. Shame as we had traveled especially and not obvious on their website that they don’t allow dogs.
