点评：Black Rock Beach is one of Melbourne's quieter coastal spots and a great place to escape the crowds without travelling far from the city. The beach sits below scenic bluffs, which help create a sheltered and peaceful atmosphere despite Beach Road being just above.
The views across Port Phillip Bay are excellent, especially around sunrise and sunset when the water reflects the changing colours of the sky. The seawall and walking path make it easy to enjoy a leisurely stroll, and there are plenty of spots to sit and take in the scenery. The nearby cafés, shops, picnic areas, and parking are all convenient additions.
The water is generally inviting for swimmers, but it's worth noting that the beach drops off quite quickly, with deeper water close to shore. Families with young children or inexperienced swimmers should take extra care. There are also some reef sections, particularly toward the northern and southern ends, which become more noticeable at low tide.
I also enjoyed the local character of the area, with the surf lifesaving club overlooking the beach and the rugged sandstone formations adding interest to the coastline. It feels less commercial than some of Melbourne's more famous bay beaches while still offering good facilities.
