Great event but enhamcements are needed at the venue

点评：Warwick Racecourse Ladies Day 2026 was a really enjoyable day out overall. The atmosphere was fantastic, the racing was entertaining, and we were very lucky with the weather, which made the day even better. It was a great event to attend with friends, and there was a real buzz around the racecourse throughout the day.
However, there were several areas that badly needed improvement. One of the main issues was the lack of race programmes and advance information about the races. It was difficult to follow the day properly without enough available programmes or clear information about runners, timings, and races, which took away from the overall experience.
Unfortunately, the facilities were also completely inadequate for the size of the crowd, particularly the toilets. There were constant large queues all day, especially for the men’s toilets. Some of the male toilet areas only had a single cubicle, leading to queues of around 30 people at times, which was unacceptable for an event of this size. Additional portable toilets or new permanent toilet blocks are definitely needed to accommodate the numbers attending Ladies Day.
The same issue applied to the bars, where queues were also extremely long. More outdoor bars serving beer would help reduce waiting times considerably. Drink prices were also excessive — charging £45 for a bottle of prosecco felt far too expensive, and around £25 would have been much more reasonable for the event.
Food options were also limited, with not enough vendors for the number of people attending. Because there was very little competition, prices felt extortionate for what was being offered.
Despite these issues, we still had a brilliant day overall thanks to the atmosphere, racing, and lovely weather. With improvements to facilities, race information, food availability, and pricing, the event could be even better in future.
