So disappointed with Alum Bay, The Needles
The Needles Landmark Attraction的点评
点评：We saved our last full day to go to Allum bay for all the attractions. On arrival there was a £7 car park charge yet better attractions like Blackgang Chine or Robin Hill provide FREE car parking!
We were so disappointed to find that the chairlift was closed for maintenance right in the middle of the main holiday season! We were told it would be open tomorrow and this was then mentioned on their Facebook page even though the workmen told us they had to send for a new part and the earliest it would be open is next Thursday ie in 3 days time but we were going home in 2 days time. Our grandsons were so upset. I went on their Facebook page to tell them the Chairlift would not be opening tomorrow but in 3 days time at best so that others could postpone their visits if they wanted to ride the iconic chairlift. But they did not do so. It seems they did not want to lose customers and would rather have them complain rather than lose lots of money! This is probably because the prices are exceptionally high in comparison to Blackgang Chine and Robin Hill!
There was no signs stating when the attractions or demonstrations closed. At 3.05pm we went to see the sweet shop demo only to be told the last demo for the day was at 3pm in the middle of the afternoon! Why stop so early when there were so many visitors around?! The management need to look at all times and make them more suited to customer needs!
Unfortunately we cannot recommend the attraction as it’s not value for money even though children would have enjoyed the chairlift and did enjoy the golf and glass making. We left most disappointed.

很遗憾，我们无法推荐这个景点，因为它的性价比实在不高。虽然孩子们很喜欢乘坐缆车，也享受了打高尔夫和吹玻璃的活动，但我们还是非常失望地离开了。
