Beautiful view but a bit overpriced

点评：ChatGPT said this was one of the ‘must see’ landmarks of the Isle of White so off we went. We arrived about 1:30pm and had to pay £7 for the car park, which I feel is a bit steep. Would be good to have a half day price option.
It was pretty windy so we decided to skip the cliff walk.
Due to recent illness, we decided not to walk down / up to the beach as didn’t want to overdo it so ended up taking the cable car. We didn’t notice any signs detailing the price so got a bit of a shock when we were charged £22 for two!
The view itself is very pretty and the cliffs are the most beautiful colours with a cool back drop of the needles and lighthouse.
There are options of getting a boat to get closer, which we didn’t do. Slow boat £10 adult, £6 child, or the fast boat was £25 pp.
At the top there’s several gift shops, a cafe, a few places to get ice creams and a place where you can fill a jar with sand from the cliffs which was fun and a great souvenir!
