Disappointing Visit!
The Needles Landmark Attraction的点评
点评：Seven of us visited on a Friday including a young child. Paid our £7 for parking to the man in the parking booth! We bought a book of tickets each when we arrived from the lady in the entrance booth! We all really wanted to do the chair lift but at 11 tickets each it was just too expensive (that would leave us 3 tickets each). So we had our packed lunch on one of the benches and chatted to the lady running the 4D cinema. After lunch we did the cinema, sand shop, golf and a ride with our child. Went to take her on the other rides and were told no sorry we’re closing early today. It was 2.30pm! At no point did any of the people in the booths etc tell us that they were closing early on that day. We still had enough tickets left for her to do the rides as we didn’t do the chair lift. They didn’t even offer to honour them and just said the only place you can use them now is in the sweet shop as everything else had closed! So we had a disappointed little girl and we didn’t want to particularly spend the equivalent of £8 on sweets, especially as she has a milk allergy so we have to be careful what she can have. We had only just arrived on the Isle if Wight so this was a disappointing start to our holiday. Such a shame, we have been here a few times over 40 years! I think they just decided to close early as they were quiet but this is really unfair if you’ve bought a book of tickets for attractions that you then can’t use. Maybe need to change charging system if this happens frequently.
翻译：我们一行七人，包括一个小孩，周五去的。停车费7英镑，付给了停车收费亭的工作人员！我们到达时，在入口处的售票亭买了每人一本票！我们都很想坐缆车，但是每人11张票太贵了（这样我们每人就只剩下3张票了）。所以我们就在长椅上吃了自带的午餐，和4D影院的工作人员聊了会儿天。午饭后，我们去了电影院、沙盒店、打了高尔夫，还带孩子玩了一个游乐设施。之后我们想带她去玩其他项目，却被告知今天提前关门了。当时才下午2点半！售票亭的工作人员之前根本没告诉我们今天会提前关门。因为我们没坐缆车，所以剩下的票还够她玩其他项目。他们甚至都没说可以认领，只是说现在唯一能用票的地方就是糖果店，因为其他地方都关门了！所以，我们的小女儿很失望，我们本来也不想花相当于8英镑的钱买糖果，尤其她对牛奶过敏，所以我们必须小心她能吃什么。我们刚到怀特岛，这真是个令人失望的假期开端。太可惜了，我们过去40年来过这里好几次了！我想他们可能是因为生意清淡就提前关门了，但如果你买了景点门票却不能用，这真的很不公平。如果这种情况经常发生，或许应该改进一下收费系统。
