Stay Clear of Pebbles Beach Shack!!!

点评：Feeling absolutely disgusted after visiting a beach shack called Pebbles on Calangute Beach.
We ordered 4 Kingfisher beers, tiger prawns, calamari to start, and two small appetisers. We were advised that the prawns were complimentary and were not given the option to see a menu (lesson learned). When the bill arrived, it totalled ₹7,400, which was completely unreasonable for what we had ordered.
As we had only arrived today day and hadn’t yet exchanged money, we questioned the bill. Fortunately, another tourist—an Indian gentleman who spoke excellent English—also agreed that the charges were incorrect. Despite this, a staff member became aggressive and repeatedly demanded £100, then insisted on £50 notes. We explained that £50 was already more than sufficient and we did not have £50 notes as he insisted, at which point he threatened to call the police and followed us down the beach.
The prices were astronomical for the food provided, and the staff’s behaviour was rude, intimidating, and completely unacceptable. The constant interrogation was clearly an attempt to extract more money.
I strongly advise others to stay well clear of this establishment.
