点评：Had an AMAZING time on the 7-day itinerary that my friend and I booked with Cotopaxi-Travel. Our itinerary included summit attempts for Illiniza Norte, Cotopaxi, and Chimborazo, as well as rest day visits to Quilotoa and Baños. The opportunity to connect with and learn from the Cotopaxi-Travel guides was inarguably the best part of the experience. Enjoyed summiting Illiniza Norte! Had an amazing time visiting Quilotoa with Frank. Absolutely loved our guide on Cotopaxi, Cosme. Cosme was incredibly knowledgeable and professional, with endless amounts of knowledge about mountaineering and climbing, but also the natural history of Ecuador. He was tremendously encouraging, observant and responsive to our needs on the mountain. Cosme helped us establish a comfortable pace that was easy to maintain up Cotopaxi and ultimately helped us gain the summit. Was so happy to share el cumbre de Cotopaxi with he and Fernando. We also had an amazing time with our guide Jorge on Chimborazo. Jorge was kind and experienced, as well as incredibly responsive to our needs and concerns on the mountain. We were unable to summit Chimborazo due to the high risk for avalanches on the route during our attempt, however the decision to turn back was an easy one to make. I felt that Jorge and Fernando did an incredible job of laying out their risk assessment for us that morning, demonstrating their knowledge and their dedication to the safety of their clients. Accommodations at Illinizas Mountains Lodge were incredible. We also really appreciated the hotel we stayed at in Baños. I cannot recommend Cotopaxi-Travel enough! I will definitely be booking with Fernando and Cotopaxi-Travel again!
