Serious hygiene issue: Pigeons in the Food Court (1st floor)

I am writing this to warn other visitors and to urge management to take action.
Lately, there has been a significant problem with pigeons inside the 1st-floor Food Court. Over the past few weeks, I have encountered them on several occasions, seeing at least three different pigeons during my recent visits.
The birds are frequently walking on the floor and around the tables. I have specifically seen them walking right where customers stand to use the soda fountain and close to where food is being prepared at Taco Bell, please see the attached photo.
It is highly unhygienic to have birds in such close proximity to food and self-service drink stations, and it makes me wonder where they spend the night - hopefully not in the kitchens.
What is most disappointing is the apparent indifference from the staff; nobody seems to be doing anything to remove them or prevent them from entering.
I have visited other shopping centers like Miramar in Fuengirola, where this is never an issue. The recurring nature of this problem at La Cañada suggests a serious lack of "bird-proofing." Until the management takes hygiene seriously and ensures a bird-free dining environment, I will not be eating here.
