King Solomons Caves的点评
点评：My family and I visited King Solomon’s Cave (at Mole Creek Karst National Park) for a tour on Wednesday. It was a wet and miserable day outside, but as we soon discovered, exploring the cave was the perfect activity for a rainy day with the kids!
Our tour guide, Sue, was amazing. She was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the science behind the formation of the stalactites, stalagmites and other natural formations within the cave. We also learned about the fascinating insects and spiders that call the cave home, which added another really interesting dimension to the tour.
Sue shared fascinating insights into the cave’s history, from its chance discovery in 1906 through to the evolution of its development as a tourist attraction over the past 120 years.
We truly could not have asked for a better guide. Sue, thank you for your generosity in sharing your knowledge, patiently indulging our questions, and for the genuine passion and professionalism you brought to the tour. Your enthusiasm made an already incredible experience even more memorable.
Onto the cave — we entered the first chamber, and when the lights came on, the entire tour group let out one collective, awestruck “WOW.” It is STUNNING. Every new path, every turn brought something spectacular to take in - The cave is amazing from start to finish!
I had an idea of what I thought I was going to see, and I expected it to be a cool tour — but calling it “cool” doesn’t even come close. It’s simply breathtaking.
The King Solomon Cave tour has been an absolute highlight of our Tasmanian holiday. I would recommend this tour to anyone and everyone.
