Hakuba Ski Concierge的点评
点评：We booked 2-1/2 days with Hakuba Ski Concierge.
The instructors were friendly, it was nice having a ride to and from the mountain bc even though there is resort shuttle service - it wasn't very good (but more on that later).
We were taken to Hakuba 47 twice and Tsugaike (I think, once). Hakuba 47 was fun but would have been ok just doing the half day. And Tsugaike was underwhelming The instructor we had that day underestimated us and had us on very flat greens all day. Although my kids are young, they have been snowboarding for over 4 years and are very adept at all different terrain. It was a little disappointing and felt like a waste of a day. Later we found out that we could not be taken to Happo-One bc Hakuba Ski Concierge is not allowed on that resort. This was a bummer since it's one of the bigger resorts. We did go there alone on our 4th day and felt that we really missed out not getting to go more than once.
On day 2, our van got a flat tire on the way to the mountain. So we were told to just take the shuttle back to our hotel. I kind of felt like Hakuba Ski Concierge should have gotten us another van to take us back to our hotel as this is part of the service we paid for. I didn't want to be difficult so we agreed to just take the shuttle. However, the shuttle ran over an hour late and my kids and I were standing at the shuttle stop as the sun was going down and it was getting really cold. So that was not a good experience.
All in all, we'll be going to Japan again this winter but I don't think I will book them again. Although, the instructors were knowledgeable and did help me keep an eye on my kids - I don't think they were as beneficial as other concierge/instructor services that I have used in the past.
