Memorable Santa Cruz trekking experience

点评：The Santa Cruz route was an experience I'll never forget, and the biggest reason for that was Maite. She wasn't just our guide, she was the heart and soul of the whole trip! Maite is cheerful, fun, and has a great walking pace. She motivated us when we were tired and shared lots of fascinating stories about the mountains of Peru and Ecuador.
Alfonso, our chef, was absolutely incredible. I still don’t know how he managed to cook meals that good in the middle of the mountains. Every dinner felt like a celebration, and after a long day of hiking, his food honestly made the whole experience even more special.
And the donkey drivers Richard y Julio, what absolute legends!! They worked so hard, always smiling, and made everything possible for us. From setting up camp to making sure our gear was ready, they were the quiet heroes of the trek.
If you’re thinking of doing the Santa Cruz Trek, I can’t recommend Maite, Alfonso, and the amazing team at Andean Raju enough. They turned a challenging hike into one of the best adventures of my life, and I’d choose them again in a heartbeat.
