点评：We met our guide Sokhoeun for our trip in Cambodia at Phnom Penh airport. From the moment we met him we felt relaxed and looked after. We had a FANTASTIC time. Nothing was too much trouble.
We visited so much in our two weeks. Phnom Penh - Wat Phnom, Tuol Sleng, Choeung Ek. Ko Ta Kiev. Kampot - salt pans, pepper fields, mangroves, markets. Battambang - Killing caves, Bat cave, banana chips and rice paper makers. Siem Reap - Angkor Wat, landmine museum, Kulen Mountains, reclining Buddha, Phare Circus.
Sokhoeun was punctual every day and so kind, ensuring we always had cold water in the heat. His knowledge of local history (both ancient and recent) and crafts made our trip so much more fulfilling. We met lots of locals and heard about their trades which we would have never had the experience without Soukhoeun. He shared stories of his life and despite his harrowing early years his pride, respect and love for Cambodia is evident.
By the end of the trip we felt like a family and were so sad to leave. Anyone who has Sokhoeun as a guide will find they have an unforgettable trip. Arkun Chran from Andy, Clare & Freya!
