We recently visited Sri Lanka as a family, and booking our excursions through See Lanka Travels was the best decision we made. Right from the initial inquiry, Nipun provided outstanding customer service. He responded almost instantly, sent over helpful brochures, and worked around my proposed dates.
When we arrived, Nipun met us at our hotel to talk through our itinerary and finalize the details. He expertly structured our excursions with rest days built in between, ensuring the pace was comfortable for the entire family. His communication throughout the trip was flawless—whenever we had a quick question, he replied right away.
The tour guides made our vacation truly memorable:
Rocky ("Life of a Local" & "Monkey Island" Tours): Rocky was incredibly informative and shared fascinating insights along the way. While feeding the monkeys was amazing, the highlight was stepping off the boat to enjoy a fresh fruit lunch sitting in the lagoon on our way to Monkey Island.
Wagee & Chathu: This dynamic brother-and-sister duo hosted us on two fantastic outings. They guided us through a long, early-start day visiting Sigiriya Rock, Dambulla Cave Temple, and Minneriya National Park. They also took us on a wonderful Colombo city tour, topped off with lunch at the Lotus Tower's revolving restaurant, which offered breathtaking views of the city.
Roshan (Kitulgala White-Water Rafting): Though it was a long drive, Roshan made the trip completely worth it with his rich knowledge and friendly demeanor—even surprising us with a chocolate ice cream treat!
Every guide was professional, insightful, and attentive to our needs. We couldn't have asked for a smoother or more enjoyable family vacation. Highly recommended!
