Second time and have never been disappointed!
Alaska Fishing with Mark Glassmaker的点评
点评：We were fortunate to get up to the Kenai peninsula a little early in the year. The advantage of this; beating the crowds and being able to enjoy a bit more solitude. That said, our guy’s trip was incredible. This was my second time booking with Alaska Fishing with Mark Glassmaker and the first trip is precisely why I booked a second time and coordinated this trip with my brother and Dad to make it a “guys trip”. Both Mark and Cindy were incredible in terms of coordination, advice in planning, and ensuring our trip would be successful. In fact, we were neighbors for an entire week since we lodged in the cabin right next door to their own house. It was just us three guys, so the cabin was everything we needed.
We spent 6 days there, and fished 4 of those days for Sockey, Kings, and halibut. Mark and Cindy arranged all the guide services, and each day put us on the fish. Kings were tough at this point, they just started to run, but the guides we were provided with ensured we were one of the only boats hooking up and bringing in keepers both times we went out. We opted for the “fly-out” Sockeye trip, and it was worth every penny. It gave us an opportunity to see more of the beautiful countryside, catch our limit, and a nice tour of the glaciers on the way back. As a bonus, the Glassmakers have invested in top quality fish processing equipment to vacuum seal, freeze, and box your fish for your trip home. We flew back to our hometowns in Texas and Florida, and all the fish remained frozen and fresh during transport.
Bottom line, why would I look for another guide and lodging service when I have had two excellent experiences with the Glassmaker’s? I will definitely be heading back to Alaska and when I do, Mark and Cindy are who I am calling.
