点评:Oh my goodness, this place is SO COOL! No monkeys here - monkey cup is just the local name for a pitcher plant.
We visited after leaving the Habitat, as the exit from the shop/cafe drops you onto the road and it’s just a 1km downhill walk to Monkey Cup with interesting plants, butterflies and views along the way. DO use the toilets at the Habitat as there are none at the cafe.
We loved the cafe - from the cute tables (some with plant displays under glass) to the pots of delicious coffee. Best coffee we have had in Malaysia. Chicken pie was a delicious hot lunch.
There is a RM12 charge to see the small pitcher plant garden which also has a few tanks with scorpions and three huge rhino frogs. Took some nice photos in there.
You can walk back uphill to the furnicular station but this is quite a trek. Fortunately buggies park opposite the cafe and you can take a one-way ride quite cheaply (we paid RM20 for 3).
