Lovely day at La Paz Waterfall Gardens!

点评：We visited La Paz Waterfall Gardens on a day pass. The gardens are just spectacular and beautifully manicured and the trails very well marked. My favorite parts were the toucan aviary where they actually come close enough and you can take a picture with a toucan without actually touching it. The waterfall trails get you up close to the waterfalls but be ready for a lot of stairs. It is challenging but in my opinion well worth it. At the end of the waterfall trail they provide a shuttle that will drive you back up to your car. I also loved their butterfly garden. So many big beautiful butterflies! If you purchased the pass that includes lunch you can have lunch on your way down as the restaurant is in the middle of the park or come back in the park and make your way halfway down to eat and then back up to exit. The food was okay. We were hungry after all the walking and climbing. The park has other areas like a hummingbird garden. frogs, snakes, sloths, cats, monkeys and orchids. In general about 3 hours to view the park depending on how long you take doing the trail and taking pictures. Very nice place.
