点评:Sunday 17th May we visited The Bund area in the City of Shanghai. This is a waterfront promenade and historical district along the Huangpu River.
From our vantage point in Chen Yi Square we had a great view across the River to the array of skyscrapers and tall buildings on the other side.
This building was one of the first to catch or eye, due to it’s shape it is known as "The Bottle Opener".
It's actual name is the Shanghai World Financial Centre and it is home to retail outlets and the Park Hyatt Shanghai.
It is located on the Pudong district of Shangha. At 492 metres (1,614 feet) tall it is the second tallest building in Shanghai after the Shanghai Tower.
The next day we ventured to the other side of the Huangpu River, we were on our way to visit the Shanghai Tower and travel up to it's observation platform.
While walking towards the Tower our route took us past this iconic building.
Later on from the Shanghai Tower's Observation Platform we got to see this building from a different angle, we were looking down on it rather than craning our necks looking up.
We learnt that the building has 3 observation platforms, on various floors, there is a suspended skywalk with a glass floor.
