What an absolutely incredible experience.
I host retreats in Tuscany, so I’m always looking for experiences that feel real. I don’t want my guests simply checking another activity off an itinerary. I want them to connect with the people, the food, the traditions, and the feeling of being here.
Mauro and the Montese Cooking Experience delivered all of that and so much more.
We spent the day getting our hands into pasta dough, chopping and sautéing, learning the little secrets behind real Tuscan cooking, drinking wine, teasing one another, laughing until our stomachs hurt, and eventually sitting down together to enjoy this beautiful meal that we had created with our own hands.
Mauro is what makes this experience extraordinary.
He is funny, incredibly knowledgeable, patient, warm, and wonderfully human. He makes everyone feel completely at ease. There’s no pretension and no feeling that you’re being rushed through a tourist experience. You cook. You learn. You laugh. You eat. You drink. You connect.
And somewhere in the middle of all of it, you realize you’re experiencing one of those beautiful travel moments that you’re going to talk about for years.
This was our final day together after an incredible week in Tuscany, and I honestly could not have chosen a better way to end it. Sitting around that table, eating what we had made, drinking wine and listening to everyone laugh was one of my favorite moments of the entire retreat.
Mauro, you are an absolute treasure.
We came for a Tuscan cooking class and left with full bellies, full hearts, and another memory of Tuscany that I know none of us will ever forget.
I’ll be bringing my future retreat groups back without hesitation.

而在这一切的过程中，你会意识到自己正在经历那些值得回味多年的美好旅行时刻。
在托斯卡纳度过了精彩的一周后，这一天是我们共同度过的最后一天。说实在的，我实在想不出还有什么更好的方式来为这段时光画上句号了。我们围坐在桌旁，品尝着自己亲手制作的美食。喝着葡萄酒，听着大家欢声笑语，那是整个静修营中我最喜欢的时刻之一。
毛罗，你真是个无价之宝。
我们本是来参加托斯卡纳烹饪课的，结果带着饱腹的肚子、满足的心以及一段永生难忘的托斯卡纳回忆离开了。
今后我一定会毫不犹豫地带更多的静修团成员再来。
